After the hottest summer in living memory, we are on the threshold of a new heating season. Although few people have been thinking about crackling firewood in the stove, Morsø is already well under way with its preparations for another busy season.

Most recently, we have agreed with some of our employees that they extend their weekly work hours to 48 for a time, so that we can keep up with the huge demand.

Morsø is hot on the environment

Morsø’s stoves have been approved according to the strictest environmental requirements in the world – i.e. DS/EN, the Norwegian rules for reduction of particle emission and EPA (USA).

You can easily check the quality of your combustion. Go outside and look at the chimney: If the smoke is almost invisible, the combustion (and the fuel) are correct.

Wood-burning stoves and fireplaces provide sound and environmentally friendly heating if they are fired correctly and with the right fuel.

The key to environmentally friendly combustion is the temperature in the firebox. The higher the temperature, the more flue gasses are burnt – and the cleaner the combustion will be. If the temperature is too low, the flue gasses disappear up the chimney and into the surrounding environment.

All that remains is that you do your bit for environmentally friendly firing by using only clean firewood – not painted or impregnated wood, printed matter or plastic.

A new cost-effective product

The new Morsø 6100 is a small 5kW stove ideal for holiday homes, as a heating supplement or in other contexts where the heating requirement is moderate.

The stove is available in two versions: The standard low model, which is 75.5 cm high, and the tall, sculptural pedestal model, which is an impressive 95 cm high. Both models only require a distance from combustible material of 15 cm behind the stove and 40 cm at the sides.

The sophisticated combustion system with pre-heated air supply produces the high temperature in the firebox which ensures that almost all flue gasses are burnt. In this way, you achieve cleaner and more environmentally friendly combustion as well as a higher utilisation rate – so the stove is good for both the environment and your fuel economy.

Morsø 6100 has a user-friendly single-handle system for operating the air supply and the stove sets new standards for easy cleaning and replacement of worn parts.
